Levi Coffin Interpretive Center
The Levi Coffin Home and Interpretive Center, which will open in December 2016, is overseen by the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites. Levi and Catharine Coffin helped over 1,000 freedom seekers in their pursuit of freedom prior to the Civil War. The Coffin home was known as the "Grand Central Station" of the Underground Railroad and is considered one of the most significant historic sites from that time period.
